The Interdisciplinary Centre of knowledge in Church and Society (Interdisciplinair Kenniscentrum Kerk en Samenleving or IKKS) is a centre of knowledge conducting fundamental, empirical and policy-oriented research in the field of church and society. Research is carried out autonomously and on an interdisciplinary basis. The research of the IKKS aims to stimulate and enable the exchange of expertise and knowledge across different sectors and domains.

Research is conducted on our own initiative or is requested by third parties. It falls within three domains: ‘Society and Religion in a Post-secular Context’, ‘Care, Meaningfulness and Living Together‘ and ‘Research Methodology and View of Life‘.
